Online Launch - Artworks for sale runs until the 24th February.
During the long months of lockdown isolation, Malcolm was painting continuously using his memories and experience, keeping time and loneliness at bay while producing a new collection of 100 works.
Malcolm’s style and method is immediately recognizable. He can render the colour and texture of the rocks and lichen as accurately as a photographer, and the topography can be by turns vertiginous and abstract, as precise as an architect or as free as a child. His work is always eloquent, a dialogue between longing and wonder.
Malcolm was born in 1934 and studied at Liverpool University. He worked as an architect before becoming a painter. He lives in Halkyn, Flintshire. He has been a member of the RCA since 1994. His work appears in public and private collections worldwide.
