Fly Fishing and Fly Tying magazine is still being published!

How to get FF&FT during the lockdown

Dear Reader,
I am writing to you from my kitchen table. Like most others, the staff at Fly Fishing and Fly Tying are locked down in their own homes, but still working. Looking ahead, the production of the next few months’ issues will be conducted from the various kitchens of the Fly Fishing and Fly Tying team, ranging from Kent to Wiltshire, and up to Banff in Scotland. This amazing effort means the next – May issue – is already at the printers, and will come on sale this Friday, April 10.
We have already started work on the following issue (June) – ‘The Lockdown Issue’ – which will focus on innovative and interesting fly-fishing and fly-tying activities to do when you are locked down in your own household! This will appear on the shelves on May 15.
As I write, there are newsagents which normally stock the magazine which are closed, and we’re anticipating more stores will shut, so here’s a resume of how you can obtain the current and future issues of FF&FT with ease.

SUBSCRIBE
Have the issues sent direct from the printers to your door via the post through a subscription offer (starting with the May issue). We currently have a SPECIAL 3-issue for £10 Isolation Survival Kit offer, and also 12-issue subscriptions at: https://flyfishing-and-flytying.co.uk/subscribe/

FROM A NEWSAGENT
To find your nearest FF&FT stockist: Tap in your postcode on the Seymour Store Finder button at: http://www.flyfishing-and-flytying.co.uk

ON YOUR TABLET/PHONE
You can still access the current issue – and years of back issues – without going out of the house on your phone/tablet via the iOS or Android app . Just click on relevant button on the website: http://www.flyfishing-and-flytying.co.uk

DIGITAL COPIES (computer/phone/tablet)
You can read FF&FT digitally on your computer, phone or tablet through Readly, which provides the magazine at: readly.com

OVERSEAS READERS PLEASE NOTE: stores in USA, Canada and New Zealand will not take the April issue as borders are now closed. The only way to receive the April issue is to subscribe and it will be posted to you, or to download it digitally - through iOS and Android apps or through Readly.com (see above).

The FF&FT website will also contain regular news, updates and blogs from myself and other contributors just to keep you in touch… and sane. All at: http://www.flyfishing-and-flytying.co.uk

If you experience any problems obtaining issues then please phone: 01887 829868 (from overseas +44 1887 829868) - the office phone line is now diverted to a kitchen!

The sooner we can get rid of this dreadful disease, the sooner we can get out of our kitchens, and back out onto the water.

Thank you for your support in these difficult times. Please feel free to circulate this information amongst your fly-fishing friends. You can’t go fishing, but you can still read about it!

Meantime, stay safe, and stay at home.
