The 2.0d BMW engine is a great base for fine tuning. The stock ECU software is very tame in its behaviour which can lead the driver to feel it is sluggish. This is mainly down to torque and egt limitations.
Fine tuning the appropriate tables can allow for a new leash of life with more power, torque and fuel economy.
