Amsterdam - Newcastle route temporarily suspended

Following the introduction of many UK & Dutch government measures intended to delay the spread of COVID-19 virus, we regret to inform you that we will temporarily suspend sailings on our Amsterdam - Newcastle route.

We fully understand the government’s precautions have important health goals, and as our priority is to ensure the safety and health of our customers and crew, we have taken this difficult decision.

The last departure from Amsterdam will be Saturday 21 March. The last departure from Newcastle will be Sunday 22 March. This suspension will be up to and including 13 April at the earliest.

Please note that it is possible to rebook online and we encourage customers to do that as soon as possible here https://www.dfds.com/en-gb/passenger-ferries/my-booking. Bookings that have not been rebooked online via self-service by Friday 3rd April will automatically be cancelled and a travel credit issued. If you prefer something other than travel credit, please contact us via e-mail on travel.sales@dfds.com

As our call centre is currently extraordinarily busy, we kindly ask you to use e-mail rather than calling us.

If you have any queries, visit our frequently asked questions here https://dfds.co/FAQ-UK

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our valued passengers.

Sincerely
Kasper Moos, VP & Head of Passenger
