Hi I’m Nicky, technical sales advisor here at Wheelspin Models.
I started at Wheelspin in the warehouse, and recently moved into the technical sales side of the business which was a big change in my working career. It is something I am really excited to be doing, especially with the great team I work with.
I have got a couple of RC cars, a Tamiya TT02 Escort WRC and a Tamiya M-05 chassis for a little project I am doing. I also have a small collection of 1/18 scale die-cast MG Metro 6R4 models that take pride of place in my 6R4 office at home!
In my spare time I am a massive rallying fan, mainly the Group B era. My main passion has been on the Group B MG Metro 6R4 which I ran a website on for a number of years, which also included running trackdays etc. I have been lucky enough to have also done some co-driving at some rally demonstration events in a number of 6R4s, and driven one or two! When I’m not doing something 6R4 related, I’m usually found online racing on Dirt Rally 2.0, it probably won’t surprise you which car I normally use!
